The FX10C is suitable for various helmet types including universal, open face, flip up, full face, motocross, half helmet, and modular helmets. Choose between the clip mounting bracket or the 3M tape bracket based on your helmet type and preference.
- Clip Mounting: Securely attach the clip bracket to the edge of your helmet. Ensure it is firm and does not obstruct your vision or helmet functionality.
- 3M Tape Mounting: Clean the desired surface on your helmet. Peel off the protective film from the 3M tape bracket and firmly press it onto the helmet for at least 30 seconds. Allow sufficient time for the adhesive to bond before attaching the intercom unit.
- Slide the FX10C main unit onto the chosen bracket until it clicks into place.
3.3 Microphone and Speaker Installation
Select the appropriate microphone for your helmet type (hard tube microphone for open-face/flip-up helmets, button microphone for full-face helmets). Install the speakers inside the helmet, aligning them with your ears for optimal sound quality. Connect the microphone and speakers to the FX10C unit.
