4. Pag-setup ug Pag-instalar

4.1. Diagram sa Koneksyon

Ensure all cables are correctly connected before turning on power. Incorrect wiring can damage the dimmer.

• Connect the Input terminals (N, L) to your AC power supply (100-240V~).
• Connect the Output terminals (N, L1) to your dimmable light fixture (Triac dimming LED light, Filament lamps, or Halogen lamps).
• Optionally, connect a PUSH switch to the S1 and S2 terminals for manual dimming control.

4.2. Diagram sa Pag-instalar

The dimmer supports installation in standard standing junction boxes. Ensure the depth of the junction box is over 50mm.

5. Mga Instruksyon sa Pag-opera

5.1. PUSH Dimming

• Mubo nga press PUSH switch: I-ON/OFF ang suga.
• Dugay nga press PUSH switch: Provides stepless dimming brightness. Press and release your finger, then repeat long pressing to increase or decrease brightness.
• Synchronized Dimming: Long press the switch for 20 seconds until all lights have the same brightness with 100% level if multiple dimmers are connected with the same self-return switch. The connection cable for the self-return switch should not exceed 20m, and the quantity of dimmers should not exceed 25 pieces.

5.2. Remote Control Instruction (Remotes purchased separately)

The TRI-C1ZR is compatible with various MiBoxer remotes. Refer to the remote's manual for specific pairing instructions.

5.2.1. Linking Remote (e.g., K1 remote)

1. Learning code (K1 remote): Short press "SET" one time. The indicator light will burst. Power off the dimmer for 10 seconds, then power it on again. Short press the Push switch to keep the light ON.
2. For other remotes: Press "SET" 3 times within 3 seconds. Linking is done once the light flashes 3 times slowly.

5.2.2. Unlinking Remote (e.g., K1 remote)

1. Learning code (K1 remote): Press "SET" 5 times within 3 seconds. Unlinking is done once the light flashes 10 times quickly.
2. For other remotes: Press the "ON" button in group zones 5 times within 3 seconds. Unlinking is done once the light flashes 10 times quickly.

5.2.3. Setting Minimum Brightness with Remote (e.g., K1 remote)

Attention: This function should be paired with the remote first before setting.

1. Long press "SET" for 3 seconds until the light flashes one time, indicating it's in flashing status.
2. Short press "SET" to cycle through 10 kinds of brightness: 3%, 5%, 7%, 9%, 12%, 17%, 22%, 28%, 34%, 40%.
3. Short press the rotating button to confirm the setting. If no action for 10 seconds, it will automatically confirm, and the light will recover to the previous level.

Attention: The Master OFF button can set the lowest brightness for all connected dimmers.

5.3. Smartphone APP Control (Tuya Smart)

To experience more functions, you need to match the Zigbee 3.0 gateway (purchased separately).

5.3.1. Pagpares nga Network

1. Connect the dimmer with power supply.
2. Pairing network (factory default is pairing network):
   • Paagi 1: Long press "SET" about 3 seconds until the indicator flashes quickly.
   • Paagi 2: Long press the push switch for 10 seconds while the light is OFF (requires wiring with a Push switch).
3. Open "TUYA Smart" APP, click on your Zigbee gateway, then click "Add sub device".
4. Click "Indicator is flashing quickly".
5. Support APP dimming or group control once added successfully.

5.3.2. App Set Up Lowest Brightness

The light will turn off if dim brightness is set to 1%. To increase the lowest brightness:

1. Click "Settings" in the APP.
2. Move the slider to finish setting the minimum brightness.

5.3.3. Breaker Mode (ON/OFF)

Attention: This mode only supports turning ON/OFF the light and cannot dim the light once activated.

Pagbutang paagi:

1. Click "Settings" in the APP.
2. Click the button on the right side of "Breaker Mode" to activate/deactivate.

5.4. Voice Control (Alexa & Google Home)

The dimmer supports third-party voice control. A Zigbee 3.0 gateway is required (purchased separately) to control ON/OFF, brightness, etc., through voice commands.

The dimmer can be integrated into standard Zigbee 3.0 gateways like Philips Hue, IKEA TRADFRI, Amazon Echo Plus (2nd Gen), Echo (4th Gen), Echo Studio, and Echo Show (2nd Gen).

5.4.1. Alexa Voice Control

Note: Amazon Echo devices may not support Zigbee 3.0 protocol directly. Please add the device into the MiBoxer Zigbee 3.0 gateway first.

1. Ablihi ang Alexa App.
2. Click "More" on the bottom right corner, then "Skills & Games".
3. Click "Q" on the top right corner and type "Smart life" to search.
4. Click the "Smart life" skill, follow instructions to finish configuration and start voice control.
5. Say to Amazon ECHO: "Alexa, Discover devices". Wait for a while to discover the device. Voice control is activated.

5.4.2. Google Home Voice Control

1. Ablihi ang Google Home App.
2. Click "+" on the top left corner.
3. Click "Set up device".
4. Click "Works with Google".
5. Click "Q" on the top right corner and type "Smart life" to search.
6. Click the "Smart life" skill, follow instructions to finish configuration and start voice control.

5.4.3. Philips Hue Control Instruction

Add "Philips Hue" into the APP.

Pagpares nga Network:

6. Pagmentinar

• Regularly check wiring connections for any looseness or damage.

7. Pagsulbad sa problema

Light not turning ON/OFF or dimming:

• Check power supply to the dimmer.
• Verify all wiring connections are secure and correct as per the connection diagram.
• Ensure the connected light bulb is dimmable and compatible with Triac dimmers.
• If using a remote, ensure it is properly linked and has working batteries.
• If using the app, check network connectivity and ensure the dimmer is paired with the gateway and app.
• Check if "Breaker Mode" is activated in the app, as this prevents dimming.

Dimmer overheating:

• Ensure the total load of connected lights does not exceed the maximum output power (150W @110V; 300W @220V).
• Check for proper ventilation around the dimmer.

Remote control distance issues:

• Ensure there are no strong electromagnetic waves or large metal objects nearby that could interfere with the signal.
• The 2.4G RF control distance is 30m. For Zigbee, it's 100m in open areas.

8. Mga Tip sa Gumagamit

• For best smart home integration, ensure your Zigbee 3.0 gateway is updated to the latest firmware.
• When setting up voice control, use clear and concise commands. Practice common phrases to ensure smooth operation.
• If experiencing issues with app control, try restarting both the dimmer (by cycling power) and the Zigbee gateway.
• Consider using the auto-transmitting feature for larger installations to extend the effective control range.

9. Important Attention & Warnings

• Siguroha ang input voltage matches the device requirements (100-240V~ 50/60Hz).
• Do not disassemble the device if you are not an expert; otherwise, it may be damaged.
• Avoid using the light in places with widely ranged metal areas or strong electromagnetic waves nearby, as this can seriously affect the remote distance.
• The dimmer cannot be used in humid areas.
