The device can measure from its front or rear edge. The system defaults to the rear edge as the reference point.
- Short press ang U button to switch between the front end reference and the end (rear) reference. An icon on the display will indicate the active reference point.

5.1 Power On/Off

This mode allows for dynamic measurement as you move the device, displaying the maximum, minimum, and current distances.
- Pindota ug kupti ang BASAHA button. The device will start continuous measurement.
- Move the device to track the desired distance.
- Press BASAHA again to stop continuous measurement and freeze the current value.

5.7 Pythagorean Theorem Measurement
The device supports four modes for indirect measurement using the Pythagorean theorem, useful in complex environments where direct measurement is not possible.

- Pindota ang Lugar/Tomo/Pythagorean button repeatedly until the desired Pythagorean mode icon appears on the display.
- Follow the on-screen prompts or diagram to measure the required sides (e.g., hypotenuse, one leg) by pressing BASAHA for each segment.
- The unknown distance (X) will be calculated and displayed.
5.8 Addition and Subtraction of Measurements
You can add or subtract measurements for distance, area, and volume.
