4.2. Key Chip and Instrument Synchronization Test
This function allows you to verify the synchronization between a key chip and the vehicle's instrument cluster (IMMO system).
- Ensure the GT111 is properly connected to the dashboard and a diagnostic device.
- Place the key to be tested near the key induction adapter. The adapter features a light indicator.
- Observe the light on the key induction adapter and the diagnostic device for test results.
4.3. Intelligent IMMO System Emergency Start Area Induction Detection
This feature helps identify the emergency start sensing area in vehicles with smart keys.
- With the GT111 connected, press the vehicle's start switch (without starting the engine).
- Bring the key induction adapter (key identifier) close to various areas around the steering column or dashboard.
- If the key identifier light flashes or illuminates steadily, that area is the vehicle's key emergency start sensing area. This is useful if a smart key's battery is dead, allowing the vehicle to be started by placing the key in this specific area.
4.4. IMMO Combination Instrument Offline Diagnosis
The GT111 allows for offline diagnosis of the IMMO combination instrument, enabling detailed analysis and troubleshooting without the need for the entire vehicle system to be active.
4.5. Instrument Mileage Repair and Key Matching
After establishing a connection, use compatible diagnostic software (not included) with the GT111 to perform instrument mileage repair and key matching procedures as required for your specific vehicle model.
