4. Mga Instruksyon sa Asembliya
This is a DIY kit requiring basic soldering skills. Please proceed carefully and double-check all connections before applying power. Refer to the provided schematic and PCB diagrams for accurate component placement and polarity.

Mga Lakang sa General Assembly:
- Pag-andam sa mga sangkap: Organize all components and identify them using the component list and diagrams. Pay close attention to resistor values and capacitor polarities.
- Solder Resistors: Start by soldering the smallest components first, typically resistors. Match the resistor values to the markings on the PCB diagram.
- Solder Diodes and Capacitors: Solder diodes, ensuring correct polarity (band usually indicates cathode). Solder ceramic capacitors (non-polarized) and then electrolytic capacitors, paying close attention to their polarity (+ and - markings).
- Solder IC Sockets: Solder the IC sockets (16P and 8P) to the PCB. Ensure the notch on the socket aligns with the notch on the PCB silkscreen. Do NOT insert the ICs yet.
- Solder Other Small Components: Solder the LED (mind polarity), buttons, power switch, USB socket, and 3.5mm audio socket.
- Solder RDA5807 Module: Carefully solder the RDA5807 module to its designated spot on the PCB.
- Solder Digital Tube Display: Solder the digital tube display.
- Solder Potentiometer: Solder the blue adjustable potentiometer (R16).
- Solder Speaker and Antenna Connections: Connect the speaker wires to the designated pads (usually marked SPK+ and SPK-). Solder the rod antenna base.
- Insert ICs: Once all soldering is complete and cooled, carefully insert the STC Microcontroller and TDA2822 ICs into their respective sockets. Ensure the notch on the IC aligns with the notch on the socket and PCB.
- Initial Test (Optional, Recommended): Before assembling the case, you may perform a quick power-on test with a 5V USB power supply to check for basic functionality (e.g., display lights up).
- Adjust Potentiometer (Important): Before installing the housing, use a small screwdriver to rotate the blue potentiometer (R16) to adjust the sound quality to your preference. This is difficult to access once the case is closed.
- Assemble Case (if included): If your kit includes a transparent shell, carefully assemble it around the PCB. Use the provided screws and nuts to secure the case. Ensure the battery holder (if applicable) is correctly positioned and connected.
- Connect Battery Holder: If using battery power, connect the battery holder wires to the DC input pads on the PCB, observing polarity.
Always double-check your soldering for bridges or cold joints. Incorrect polarity or soldering can damage components.
5. Mga Instruksyon sa Pag-opera

- Pag-on/Pagpatay: Use the slide power switch located on the side of the unit to turn the radio ON or OFF.
- Power Supply: Connect a 5V USB power source via the USB port OR insert the required AA/AAA dry batteries into the battery compartment. Do not use both simultaneously.
- Antenna: Extend the rod antenna fully for optimal FM signal reception.
- Pag-adjust sa Volume:
- Short Press V+ / V-: Increases or decreases the volume incrementally.
- Long Press V+ / V-: Provides continuous volume adjustment.
- Tuning sa estasyon:
- Short Press F+ / F-: Switches to the next or previous stored station.
- Long Press F+ / F-: Initiates an automatic search for the next available station (F+) or previous available station (F-).
- Automatic Search and Memory: Upon initial power-on, the radio will automatically search for and store nearby FM stations. It can save up to 30 stations. The radio features power-off memory, retaining the last tuned station and volume level.
- Audio Output: Use the integrated speaker for audio output. For private listening, connect 3.5mm headphones to the headphone jack.
- Digital nga Display: The LED digital display shows the current radio frequency and can indicate signal strength. It also features a power-saving mode.
6. Pagmentinar
- Paglimpyo: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the radio. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Pagpuli sa Baterya: If using batteries, replace them when the sound quality degrades or the unit fails to power on. Ensure correct polarity when inserting new batteries.
- Pagtipig: Store the radio in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
- Likayi ang Umog: Keep the radio away from water and high humidity to prevent damage to electronic components.
7. Pagsulbad sa problema
| Problema | Posibleng Hinungdan | Solusyon |
|---|---|---|
| Ang radyo walay gahum. | No power supply; Power switch off; Incorrect battery installation. | Ensure USB power is connected or batteries are correctly inserted and charged. Check power switch position. |
