This manual provides detailed instructions for the HelloRadio HR7C, HR7E, HR8C, and HR8E series of 2.4G PWM receivers. These receivers are designed for use with fixed-wing aircraft models, RC boats, and other remote-controlled vehicles. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating your receiver to ensure proper setup and safe use.

2. Receiver Models Overview

The HelloRadio receiver series includes several models, each tailored for specific applications and protocols:

• HR8E ELRS 2.4G PWM Receiver: Features 9 channels, ExpressLRS 3.3.0 protocol, and high sensitivity dual antennas.
• HR7E ELRS 2.4G PWM Receiver: Features 8 channels, ExpressLRS 3.3.0 protocol, and high sensitivity dual antennas.
• HR8C 2.4GHz PWM Receiver: Features 9 channels, compatible with D8/D16/SFHSS protocols.
• HR7C PWM Receiver: Features 8 channels, compatible with D8/D16/SFHSS protocols.

4. Setup (Binding/Frequency Alignment)

To establish communication between your remote control and the receiver, follow these steps for frequency alignment:

For ELRS Receivers (HR8E, HR7E):

1. Turn off your remote control.
2. Power on the receiver repeatedly three times. The receiver light will blink twice, indicating it has entered the frequency alignment (bind) mode.
3. On your remote control, access the ExpressLRS LUA interface.
4. Select the 'BIND' option and confirm.
5. If the receiver light turns solid, the frequency alignment is successful.

For CC2500 Receivers (HR8C, HR7C):

1. Turn off your remote control.
2. Power on the receiver repeatedly three times. The receiver light will blink twice, indicating it has entered the frequency alignment (bind) mode.
3. Initiate the bind procedure on your remote control according to its specific instructions for D8/D16/SFHSS protocols.
4. If the receiver light turns solid, the frequency alignment is successful.

The ELRS models (HR8E, HR7E) and CC2500 models (HR8C, HR7C) with D8 protocol support voltage return. This feature allows you to monitor the receiver's battery voltage and, for ELRS models, the main power battery voltage directly from your remote control's telemetry display.

5.4 WiFi Upgrade and Settings (ELRS Models)

ELRS receivers (HR8E, HR7E) support firmware upgrades and settings adjustments via WiFi. Connect to the receiver's WiFi network (typically named 'ExpressLRS TX' or similar) and access its web interface to update firmware or configure parameters.
