6. Pag-setup
6.1 Pag-instalar sa Baterya
- Pangitaa ang tabon sa kompartamento sa baterya sa luyo sa aparato.
- Ablihi ang kompartamento sa baterya.
- Insert four (4) 1.5V AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Isira ang tabon sa kompartamento sa baterya nga lig-on.
6.2 Pagdugtong sa Probe
The detector comes with a flexible probe. Ensure it is securely attached to the main unit before use.
- Align the threaded end of the probe with the connection port on the top of the detector.
- Gently screw the probe into place until it is firm. Do not overtighten.
- The sensor tip is replaceable. To replace, unscrew the outer cap, remove the old sensor, insert the new one, and re-secure the cap.
7. Mga Instruksyon sa Pag-opera
7.1 Power On and Auto-Zero
- In a clean, fresh air environment (free from refrigerants), long-press the power button (usually the central button with a power symbol).
- The green LEDs will gradually light up and then extinguish, accompanied by a single beep.
- Subsequently, the yellow, orange, and red LEDs will illuminate fully and then extinguish.
- The device will emit a uniform "drip-drip" sound, and the power indicator light will turn green, indicating that the self-check is complete and the current ambient gas has been set as the zero point. The detector is now ready for use. This process typically takes about 3 seconds.
7.2 Pagpahiangay sa Pagkasensitibo
The UT336B features 6 levels of sensitivity. The default sensitivity upon startup is Level 3.
- Use the up (▲) and down (▼) arrow buttons to adjust the sensitivity.
- When adjusting, the green indicator lights will illuminate to show the current sensitivity level. More green lights indicate higher sensitivity.
- Choose a lower sensitivity for larger leaks or to pinpoint the source, and a higher sensitivity for detecting very small leaks.
7.3 Leak Detection Process
- With the detector powered on and zeroed, slowly move the probe tip around the suspected leak area.
- Maintain a steady, slow movement (e.g., 1-2 inches per second) to allow the sensor to react.
- If a refrigerant leak is detected, the device will emit an audible alarm (beeping) and the yellow, orange, and red LEDs will illuminate. The intensity of the alarm and the number of illuminated LEDs will correspond to the concentration of the detected refrigerant. Red LEDs indicate a high concentration.
- Continue to move the probe to pinpoint the exact source of the leak, observing the alarm intensity.
8. Mga Sitwasyon sa Aplikasyon
The UNI-T UT336B is versatile and suitable for various applications where refrigerant leak detection is critical:
- Air Conditioning Maintenance: Ideal for detecting leaks in residential, commercial, and industrial air conditioning systems.

9. Pagmentinar
9.1 Kinatibuk-ang Pag-atiman
- Keep the detector clean and dry. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp panapton. Ayaw gamita ang mga abrasive nga panglimpyo o mga solvent.
- Itago ang aparato sa usa ka bugnaw, uga nga lugar kung dili gamiton, layo sa direkta nga adlaw ug grabe nga temperatura.
- Protect the probe tip from physical damage.
9.2 Pagpuli sa Sensor
The sensor probe is a consumable part and may require replacement over time due to wear or contamination. A spare sensor probe is included in the package.
- Siguroha nga ang device gipalong.
- Carefully unscrew the outer cap of the probe tip.
- Remove the old sensor element.
- Insert the new sensor element, ensuring it is seated correctly.
- Screw the outer cap back onto the probe tip securely.
- After replacing the sensor, perform the auto-zero procedure in a fresh air environment before conducting leak detection.
10. Pagsulbad sa problema
If you encounter issues with your UT336B detector, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Walay Gahum: Check if the batteries are correctly installed and fully charged. Replace with new batteries if necessary.
- Inaccurate Readings/False Alarms: Ensure the device was zeroed in a clean, fresh air environment. Move to a different area and re-zero. The sensor might be contaminated or nearing the end of its lifespan; consider replacing the sensor probe.
- Weak or No Alarm: Check the sensitivity setting. Increase sensitivity if needed. Ensure the probe is positioned correctly near the potential leak source.
- Device Dili Motubag: Try removing and reinserting the batteries. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
11. Mga Tip sa Gumagamit
- For best results, always perform the auto-zero function in an area known to be free of refrigerants before starting your inspection.
- Move the probe slowly and steadily around potential leak points. Rapid movement can reduce detection accuracy.
- When checking for leaks in complex systems, start with the highest sensitivity and gradually decrease it to pinpoint the exact leak location once a general area is identified.
- Keep the sensor tip clean to maintain optimal performance.
