Prior to using this accessory latch, the user should read and understand the directions for use for the Cable, the Sensor, the Device or Monitor, and these directions for use.

DESKRIPSIYON

The RD EMS Cable Replacement Latch is a reusable latch for use with Masimo® RD rainbow SET® EMS patient cables and compatible sensors.

• Only use the replacement latch with Masimo cables. Using unauthorized applications or devices may result in no or incorrect readings.
• The replacement latch and cable should be free of visible defects, discoloration, and damage. If the latch or cable is discolored or damaged, discontinue use.

Never use a damaged latch or cable or one with exposed electrical circuitry.

MGA INSTRUKSYON

A) Attaching the latch to a sensor and patient cable

1. Apply the sensor to the application site according to the sensor directions for use.
   For reusable sensors only: Remove the winged latch from the reusable sensor.
2. Refer to Fig. 1. Thread the patient cable into the latch tether.
3. Orient the sensor connector with shiny contacts on tab facing up, and insert the sensor connector into the patient cable connector.
4. Refer to Fig. 2. Orient the patient cable and sensor connector with the Masimo logo pointing down towards the latch.
5. Place connector in latch and verify proper alignment. Confirm the line on the connector is visible through the window on the latch.
6. Refer to Fig. 3. Press the cable and sensor connector into the latch and close the latch around the connector.

1. Remove the sensor from the patient and disconnect the cable from the device.
2. Open the latch and remove the patient cable and sensor connectors.
3. Remove the latch tether from the patient cable.
4. Clean the surface of the latch by wiping with a 70% isopropyl alcohol pad.
5. Wipe all surfaces of the latch.
6. Saturate another cloth or gauze pad with sterile or distilled water and wipe all surfaces of the latch.
7. Dry by wiping all surfaces with a clean cloth or dry gauze pad.
8. Allow to fully dry prior storing or applying to a patient cable.

PAHINUMDOM:

This replacement latch and RD rainbow SET series EMS patient cables are intended for use only with devices containing Masimo SET® or Masimo rainbow SET® technology and with compatible sensors. Consult individual oximetry system manufacturers for compatibility of particular devices and sensor models. Each device manufacturer is responsible for determining whether their devices are compatible with each sensor and cable model. Use of this latch with other products may result in no or improper performance.
